Descubrirse la cabeza al sentarse a la mesa

Yo estoy feliz de estar otra semana más contigo.

En esta ocasión quiero platicarte de una costumbre que todavía está presente aunque cada vez la veo menos en jóvenes: descubrirse la cabeza al sentarse en la mesa.

Por lo general, son los hombres quienes llevan cubierta la cabeza con sombreros o gorras; se considera de buena educación retirárselos al sentarse a la mesa.

I’m happy to be here with you for another week.

This time, I want to talk to you about a custom that is still around, although I see it less and less among young people: removing your hat when sitting at the table.

Usually, it’s men who wear something on their heads, like hats or caps; it’s considered good manners to take them off when sitting down to eat.
