Han pasado unos meses desde la última vez que publiqué una entrada aquí…
¿Ya has escuchado el sonido que encabeza esta entrada? ¿Sabes de qué es?
Es un oficio que está desapareciendo… ¡el afilador! Hombres que se dedican a afilar herramientas de corte como cuchillos, tijeras y cualquier otro instrumento que haya en casa y necesite una afilada. El sonido que hacen es distintivo de su oficio, si estás en México y escuchas este sonido quiere decir que el afilador está pasando por la calle.
¿Existe este oficio en tu país? Me encantará leerte en los comentarios.

It’s a trade that is almost extinct… the knife sharpener! Knife sharpeners are workers who travel around sharpening cutting tools such as knives, scissors and other instruments that need to be sharpened. The sound they use is very distinctive, so if you are in Mexico and hear it you can be sure that a knife sharpener is nearby.
